What Are GEMS? GEMS are are just what the name implies… real GEMS! The acronym stands for GIVING EFFECTIVE MEMBER SERVICE and our GEMS team represents RMA well.
Created in April 2010, our GEMS volunteers are meeting a critical need for our organization. We want to ensure that RMA is making an impact in our community, both with our members services through the Association, and with our desire to serve the non-profit arena through our Foundation.
Being a small staff, we sometimes need help. GEMS commit to assisting with two events for each year that they sign on. For the last two years since starting this program, our GEMS have served us well, a true testament of their willingness to serve, support, and assist with those needs. They are an extension of RMA and allow us to broaden our scope of help for our members. Meet our 2012 Elite Group of Volunteers… our GEMS….
MISHELLE BROSINSKI is a Senior Marketing Consultant with Centennial Broadcasting, broadcasters of WLNI News Talk 105.9, Fox Sports Radio 106.9 and The Planet 97.9. She has worked in the marketing and advertising industry for over ten years in the Central Virginia community. WLNI News Talk is a proud member and sponsor of the Retail Merchant Association and Mishelle enjoys serving with this great team, working together for our local community and businesses. .

CINDY BRYANT is the Underwriting Director for Spirit FM, which broadcasts into portions of VA, NC and WV (90.3 on Lynchburg’s FM dial). Cindy’s had a highly successful 13-year career in collections and an equally successful 6-year career in information technology. But in December of 2008, she found her dream job at Spirit FM where she gets to interact with business professionals and loyal listeners on a daily basis. She herself was a loyal listener for over 10 years, as well as a regular volunteer at Spirit FM, before joining the Spirit FM staff. KIM KEYES began her Insurance career with Nationwide in the Lynchburg Call Center March 2003. She transitioned into her current position with Russ Watson Allstate Agency in October 2008. The most rewarding thing about her current position is the ability to build strong relationships, allowing her to work as a partner with her customers in designing policies that fit their need as well as their pocket.
